About that move February 25, 2008

Weeeeelllll…. We’re not moving after all! At least not to Boston. We never really felt good about it when we went for a visit in October and were kind of waiting to take another visit to make sure of that. Then the company decided they wanted to get into the liquor business and Daniel didn’t want to be responsible for doing the tax work on that, so he told them last week that he wasn’t moving. Well after several discussions back and forth, Pyramid (his current company) said they would work out a way for the liquor to be set up where he wouldn’t really have to work on it and they offered to let him have his department down here! They still have to iron out the details on that and make it official, but if it works out, it would be ideal because this is just a really bad time to sell a house.

If it doesn’t work out with Pyramid, he’s going to try and find a job here in Orlando. If he absolutely can’t find anything, he’s got a standing offer in Chicago that is an option. We should know within the next couple of weeks if things will work out with Pyramid or not.

Again with the bad blogging February 5, 2008

I didn’t realize my last post was at the beginning of January! But again there’s not too much happening around here.

A couple of weeks ago we went to Sea World and got fun passes so we can go back all year long! I’ll post the pictures later since photobucket isn’t working right now. I’m loving that fun pass too. The kids and I are going to head back there this coming Thursday!

Amelia and Jack have both been sick recently. When I got Jack out of bed Sunday morning, he had thrown up all over the bed. And had apparently been sleeping in it all night because it was dry.  But we never heard him make any noises. He also threw up at about noontime too. Then yesterday Amelia woke up and had puked too. She kept puking several times throughout the whole day. But today she seems fine. It kind of freaked her out because this is the first time she’s been aware of what’s happening when she pukes. She did not care for it, to say the least.

The only other thing happening around here is that I’m planning to start an Etsy store soon. I’ll make another post on here when I get things all set up. I’m going to sell jewelry on there!
