These are some videos we took last night. Amelia likes to sing now.

Here she is singing the itsy bitsy spider and the hokey pokey:

And here she is singing twinkle twinkle little star.

And Jack just thinks Amelia is hilarious most of the time:

Some of you might have known bits and pieces of this and some of you might not have known anything at all. But the Cooley family is heading to Boston. No, not on vacation. We’re going to be living there.

Daniel’s company got bought out earlier this year and the new company offered him a job. They just happen to be based in Boston. They’ve offered him a great deal and we’re actually looking forward to a bit of a change from Florida. Of course, I say that before I’ve gone through a winter. One nice thing is that they said we don’t have to move until the spring. But since it seems to be taking forever to sell a house around here, we’re probably going to be listing our house in about a month or so. We’re anticipating it taking 6 months or more to sell. And if it happens to sell quickly, we’ll just have to deal with that.

It’s crazy to think about living in New England. And I’m pretty sure, if  my dad were alive he would disown me for becoming a yankee! But it should be an interesting journey for us all! I’ll make sure I post pictures of our first snowman!

Been a while, huh? September 5, 2007

Sheesh, I didn’t realize it had been so long since I wrote in this thing.

Probably because I don’t have much to report on yet. Something’s coming, but it hasn’t been finalized, so I’m not going to write about it yet.

We went down to Ft. Pierce for Labor Day. Well, we were actually there Friday night, Saturday and Sunday, and were back home on Labor Day itself. But a fun time was had by all. Amelia turns into such a ham when she’s around people she normally isn’t around. She’s so silly.

When we were there, Jack slept horribly at night, so when we got home I was convinced to let him start crying it out. Then I found out he had a cold, so I figured I wouldn’t make him cry it out just yet. But on Monday night, I went to bed at about 10:30, shut the bedroom door and forgot to turn the monitor on. Well, Daniel had stayed up playing his video game and came into the bedroom at about 12:30 asking me if I meant to let Jack cry for about 45 minutes. Oops, no I didn’t, but man did that sleep feel good! So then we decided if he woke up again in the night, we’d let him cry it out some more. He cried from about 1:10 until 1:30 and then again from 4:30 until 5:15.

Then last night (Tuesday night), he had to go to bed without his sleep sack because he puked up the bottle I gave him at the end of the night. He wears this sleep sack because otherwise he kicks his covers off in the night and wakes himself up. So anyway, I put him to sleep and just tucked a blanket around him. Well he woke up at 1:30, cold and without his covers on, so I got the sleep sack from the dryer started to put him in it. I was certain he would just go ballistic crying, but before I even zipped the thing up, he had stopped crying and went back to sleep until 7:15!! I sure hope he starts sleeping through again.

Anyway, other than that we’re just plugging along around here. I will be sure to post about the news I can’t post about yet when I can post about it, haha.
