Normally I don’t have anything to write about, but this time I kind of do. Daniel’s company got bought out last week. You can read about it here. We’ve known it was coming for some time because Daniel was having to work on structuring the deal. Unfortunately, the company itself didn’t handle things very well. They told the local newspaper about it, so it hit the paper on the morning the head honchos were supposed to tell the employees. Basically this means that whenever the deal closes, Daniel is out of a job. Soooo… we’ve been looking at our options and seeing what’s out there. Actually he’s already found out about several jobs in the same field he is in right now, so we’re not too worried about his finding work. We might have to move, but hey we’re pros at that, right? Morgan Stanley really wants to have the deal closed by the first part of April, which is right after this baby boy of ours will be making his debut into the world. But I think everything will be ok in the end.
I realized when I made the previous post that Amelia actually says a lot more words than I posted about. She loves to say hi and hello, especially when we’re in a store. She’ll just say hi out of the blue to people in the aisles. She’s still saying bubbles too. It’s really cute to hear.
That’s all from here again. I’m really bad about figuring out how to close my blog entries!
